Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or playing Xyle: 2089 ("Xyle", "Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Game.

2. User Accounts & Call-Sign Rules

To access certain features, you must register using supported authentication providers (such as Google OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account authentication credentials.

• Grid Call-Signs: User display names must be 3 to 12 alphanumeric characters (plus hyphens/underscores). Inappropriate, offensive, or impersonating call-signs are subject to immediate reset or termination.
• Call-Sign Cooldown: Display name changes are restricted to a 180-day cooldown period.
• Account Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3. In-Game Items & Virtual Currencies

Xyle includes virtual items, cards, cyberware implants, and in-game currencies ("Net Credits", "Decryption Keys").

• Virtual goods and currencies have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency or transferred outside the Game.
• All virtual items are licensed to you on a limited, revocable, non-transferable basis solely for in-game use.

4. Code of Conduct & Anti-Cheat Policy

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Using cheats, hacks, automation software (bots), or exploits to alter match outcomes or manipulate server states.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying game code or client-server protocols.
• Harassing, abusing, or posting toxic content targeted at other Runners.

Violation of these rules may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your Xyle account.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All game code, card assets, visual art, audio, lore, designs, trademarks, and logos associated with Xyle: 2089 are the exclusive property of Xyle Studio. Unmodified card illustrations and game elements may not be redistributed or used for commercial purposes without explicit permission.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Xyle Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Game.
